Singing for as long as he can remember and playing guitar since he was thirteen years old, Ramon played secular music for many years, often performing solo as well as playing in a number of bands before giving his heart to Jesus. Since then he has dedicated his musical talents to the Lord's service playing in churches and presenting vesper services of traditional and contemporary music as well as many original songs.

Since the year 2000 Ramon has been the guitar player for contemporary Christian recording artist and Battle Creek, Michigan, native Buddy Houghtaling ~ best known for his songs Family Reunion and Here Kitty Kitty. It has been Ramon's honor and pleasure to have appeared with Buddy, vocalist/bassist Dan Grentz, and vocalist Linda Sears in many churches throughout the midwest as well as in many other parts of the United States.

Ramon is pleased to have recorded and released a CD of his own original Christian music. in February 2006 ~ Not This World. He has also recorded a CD of Christmas music with Buddy, Dan, and Linda which is named Tell Me The Story.
